Loser: Washington (dropped out)

The most embarrassing loss of the week has to go to the Washington Huskies. FCS upsets over FBS teams happen every year, but when you are ranked in the top 20 and thought to be a contender in the Pac-12, this is just a devastating loss.

Washington’s defense did what it’s accustomed to doing and shut down Montana’s offense, but they put forth a dreadful performance on offense.

If the Huskies can’t figure anything out on the offensive side of the ball, it is going to be a long season in Seattle. They have a chance to right the ship versus Michigan this week.

Loser: Indiana (dropped out)

There were some out there that thought Indiana would be able to replicate their success and possibly be the second-best team in the Big Ten this season. Any hopes of that might be gone after Saturday’s blowout loss to Iowa, where the Hoosiers were unable to get anything going.

Indiana had a great season in 2020, but they might not be able to replicate the same kind of success this season. There are still plenty of opportunities to bounce back, but Indiana is a big loser this weekend.
