After an exciting Week 1, Week 2 of college football promises to be just as exciting. What games rank out as “Games of the Week?”

Week 1 brought you an upset of Clemson by Georgia among other exciting and jaw-dropping matchups. Now, all eyes are turned to Week 2 of the College Football season.

What games should you be tuning into? Let’s start with a kind of honorable mention game of sorts, the game that opens SEC play: Missouri at Kentucky.

Honorable Mention: Missouri at Kentucky

Yeah, I understand that many people aren’t as excited about this game, but I am. This game could be part of what decides who is second place in the SEC East.

Connor Bazelak and Missouri were supposed to be one of the better teams in the East but after a disappointing 10-point win in Week 1 to Central Michigan, there are question marks surrounding this team. Bazelak was 21-32 for 257 yards and two touchdowns. However, he had minus 21 rushing yards which couldn’t haven’t helped his team. It helped that his starting running back, Tyler Badie, put up 203 yards on the ground on 25 attempts, scoring once.

On the other side, Kentucky is lead by Will Levis who made his first career start on Saturday and now people are even higher on the Wildcats than they were before now. Levis was 18-26 for 367 yards, four touchdowns, and an interception. He spread the ball around and was able to really make that offense functional for the first time in a long time.

Now, these two face off, and if Kentucky can figure out how to win this game, the hype surrounding the Wildcats will grow exponentially. Is that warranted? Probably not, but we will just have to wait and see.

Prediction: Kentucky
