Texas A&M football took on Kent State in Week 1 and, overall, it went well.

Haynes King had a few hiccups as starting quarterback, but the Aggies still won by 31 and moved up to No. 5 in the AP Top 25.

Now they face off against Colorado, looking to improve that standing.

Here are my bold predictions for the matchup.

3. Another 100-plus yard game for both Spiller and Achane

This one should come as no surprise to anyone that knows Aggie football, but this is where we will begin.

The Aggies work with two very talented and strong running backs — Isaiah Spiller and Devon Achane. Both finished with over 100 yards in the season opener and I don’t see that changing much against the likes of Colorado who finished 4-2 in the Pac-12 a year ago. The Pac-12 is just not been very good as of late and Colorado is smack dab in the middle of that conference.

Now, Spiller and Achane will be ready for this matchup and despite a strong pass rush that may keep King under pressure, the Aggies have a running game that will easily demolish the Buffs.

Will it take some time? Sure, it took time for Kent State too. It was 10-3 at halftime. However, things will get out of hand in a hurry by the end. Look for an exciting running attack for the Aggies on Saturday afternoon.
