Dylan Morris rebounds

Washington quarterback Dylan Morris was awful last week. His three interceptions were huge in the defeat to Montana and turnovers are the greatest equalizer football has to offer.

Last season, Morris had three interceptions in four games but he also completed 60 percent of his passes and ran for two touchdowns a year ago.

Morris scored on a run last week and I have a feeling he will do the same this week. Washington is going to move the ball better than it did against Montana and Morris will be part of that.

Of course, it would help immensely if Morris had a healthy group of wide receivers. Washington football was without four scholarship players last week and could be without that same number Saturday night.

There is some optimism that Rome Odunze could return to the lineup. Expect to see plenty of Cade Otter and Taj Davis too, as well as Giles Jackson in the slot.

While I do think Morris has at least one turnover in the game, he’ll play much better overall and finish with a rushing touchdown, as well as a passing touchdown.
