An NFL style game

Tonight’s game between Washington football and Michigan isn’t going to be wide open. The Huskies have the longest streak (60 games) of any team in the country of holding opponents under 35 points and this Michigan offense is far from dynamic.

The Wolverines did look much better last week, but that was against Western Michigan. The Husky defense boasts two outstanding corners in Trent McDuffie and Kyler Gordon which will make throwing the ball tough for Michigan.

Both teams will want to run the football and neither wants to put it all on the quarterback to win or lose. Michigan rushed for over 300 yards last week and the offensive front looks like one of the team’s strengths this season.

Washington football will test that. But both teams will find success on the ground. In the end, it will come down to the quarterbacks and while Morris will be better, he’ll have a mistake and some missed opportunities in the red zone will lead to a tight loss.
