Winner: Oregon (up to No. 4)

There was no bigger winner over the weekend than Mario Cristobal and the Oregon Ducks. Not many people thought that they would be able to hold up in Columbus vs the Ohio State offense, but the Ducks played a physical brand of football and did whatever they wanted to when they were on offense.

What makes this victory even sweeter is that they did it without their two best defensive players in defensive end Kayvon Thibodeaux and linebacker Justin Flowe. The Ducks are set up to be in a great position for a playoff spot if they keep winning.

Winner: Iowa (up to No. 5)

In the only top 10 matchup of the day, Iowa played a tough game against Iowa State and came away with a victory and are now a top-five team.

Iowa still has a lot to prove on the offensive side of the ball, but this is the top defense in the Big Ten and one of the best in the country, If the Hawkeyes can get better on the offensive side of the ball, then Iowa could be considered playoff contenders. For now, however, it is hard to find a team with two better wins so far in the season than the Iowa Hawkeyes.
