On Saturday morning, Ryan Day was 23-0 with Ohio State football during the regular season. Fast forward to Sunday and things change fast as Day now is 23-1 after Ohio State’s loss at home to Oregon 35-28 on Saturday in Columbus.

This was a great game to start off the long slate of college football in Week 2. Oregon came into the horseshoe as a huge road underdog but was able to come in and grab a big win. Ohio State got behind early in this matchup and just never was able to overcome that deficit in the end.

The Ducks also helped show the rest of the world that last week against Fresno State was not the team they really are and that they are a huge threat. The Ducks are not only a threat in the Pac-12 to win that league but for the College Football Playoff as well.

It was even a more impressive showing for Oregon when you factor in they did not have Kayvon Thibodeaux or Justin Flowe on the defensive side of the ball.

Here are three hot takes for Ohio State from their heartbreaking loss.
