3. Michigan State at No. 24 Miami

Michigan State has opened the season 2-0, but it has played Northwestern and Youngstown State. Those aren’t exactly great teams when it comes to trying to prove to someone that you’re the good kind of undefeated at the start of the season.

On the other hand, Miami sits at 1-1 with their loss coming to the No. 1 team in the land, Alabama. Let’s remember that they only won by two points against App State a week ago though and because of that, I can’t buy into the Hurricanes.

Look for this to be the week they drop out of the poll and they do it for good.

Pick: Michigan State

4. No. 15 Virginia Tech at West Virginia

Virginia Tech found their way into the rankings after an upset of UNC to open the season, 17-10. Now, they are sitting at 2-0, looking at West Virginia ready to continue their undefeated streak.

On the other side, WVU is looking for a win before they face off against No. 3 Oklahoma next week. This one will be an interesting matchup for sure, especially when neither of these teams is to be trusted in the long run, in my opinion.

Pick: Virginia Tech
