UCF Football: Bowser will have a big game against Louisville

2. If UCF running back Isaiah Bowser rushes for 100+ yards, the Knights will win

Throughout his college football career, any time senior back Isaiah Bowser has rushed for 100 or more yards, his team has won.

Dating back to his time at Northwestern where he played from 2018-2020, Bowser has rushed for 100 or more yards in five different games. His teams are 5-0 in those games.

Most recently, Bowser was an absolute workhorse for UCF in the season opener against Boise State. In that come-from-behind win, Bowser rushed for 172 yards on 33 carries.

Against Bethune-Cookman, he rushed for 4 touchdowns in a 63-14 routing of the SWAC team.

Look for Bowser to run all over the porous Cardinals defense this week. Louisville allowed 274 rushing yards in their first two games of the college football season.

If Bowser can get going on the ground, it’ll create some nice passing lanes for Dillon Gabriel to utilize in this week’s game. Louisville’s defense will likely be faster and stronger than anything Gabriel has seen since the team’s last game against a Power 5 opponent, which was Sept. 14, 2019, against Stanford.
