1. KJ Jefferson will have a huge game

Sophomore quarterback KJ Jefferson has the opportunity for a great statistical game in Week 3 for Arkansas, providing a much needed confidence boost. The dual-threat quarterback will be facing an Eagles defense that gave up 529 yards of offense against Florida Atlantic in a loss last week.

Through the first two games of the season, Jefferson has been uneven despite helping the team pull off the Week 2 upset. His problem areas thus far have come between the red zones, where he’s thrown two interceptions and been sacked twice.

Jefferson becomes lethal when he has Arkansas in scoring position. From 39 yards and closer, he’s thrown two touchdowns, ran for three more and thrown zero interceptions. If his offensive line can protect him on his own end of the field, Jefferson can do the rest.

Look for KJ to carve up Georgia Southern’s defense — a team that’s surrendered nine touchdowns this season through two games.

The Georgia Southern Eagles will travel to Fayetteville to take on the Arkansas Razorbacks Sept. 18 at 4 p.m. ET on SEC Network.
