Best teams to never make College Football Playoffs

For years on end, College Football had an extremely flawed system.

Following each and every season, countless football programs would sit back and complain about the lack of opportunity to compete for a National Championship.

While many believed that the best team in the nation was generally awarded at the end of year, there still needed to be a more definitive selection process.

To help find that answer, the College Football Playoffs were introduced in 2014. The rules were simple, teams would go through their regular season schedule and at the conclusion of their year, the committee would carefully look at every team and rank the four best. Those four would then play in a single game elimination with a National Champion crowned.

It isn’t a perfect system but it’s much better than what we had before. That said, there are plenty of teams over the years that believe they received the short end of the stick.

Ultimately, those teams have been forgotten and pushed aside. Now, however, we’re going to give them their moment in the sun.
