I don’t see any movement from Oklahoma this week but their performance against Nebraska should be a wake-up call. This is the second time in three weeks to start the season in which the Sooners struggled to put away a far inferior opponent — Tulane was the first in Week 1.

The Sooners got a strong performance from Spencer Rattler and the defense came up big in the fourth quarter with a huge one-handed interception near their own goal-line, but other than that, they struggled with Adrian Martinez. The Nebraska quarterback was able to do whatever he wanted.

Defensively, Oklahoma needs to improve but we just haven’t seen the Sooners really live up to their potential on either side of the ball against FBS opponents this year.

Rattler is carrying the load but he can’t do it all himself. This game was far too close because of that.
