An argument could be made for Georgia to be the No. 1 team in college football this season, especially after Week 3.

Alabama struggled after the first quarter on the road against the No. 11 Florida Gators and the No. 3 team, Oklahoma, nearly choked away an easy win at home against a middle-of-the-pack Big Ten team in Nebraska. Neither the No. 1 nor No. 3 team looked all that impressive this week while Georgia rolled.

There’s no doubt about it, the Bulldogs will receiver some first-place votes this week and they should. JT Daniels has looked great, the Bulldogs have cruised to three straight wins against Clemson, UAB, and now South Carolina, and this team looks dominant.

If the offense continues to roll while the defense remains one of the best units in the country, I could see the Bulldogs earning the top spot in the rankings even if Alabama continues to win as well.

Georgia deserves some respect.
