Loser: UCLA (Down to No. 24)

The Pac-12 took a hit on Saturday with UCLA losing to Fresno State. The Bruins were thought to be the clear second-best team in the conference after Oregon, especially after their win over LSU.

The Bruins still might be the best team in the Pac-12 South, but they might not be the kind of contender that their 13th overall ranking suggested.

The biggest thing that is still hurting UCLA is that quarterback Dorian Thompson-Robinson still is not consistent enough in the passing game. The Bruins have a powerful running attack, but they are not balanced enough to be a playoff team. This is still the team to beat in the Pac-12 South, but they are not a top 15 team yet.

Loser: Miami (Unranked)

Miami has been one of the most disappointing teams in the country so far and it may only get worse from here on out. The Hurricanes played very undisciplined football and it might be time to consider Manny Diaz to be on the hot seat.

The Hurricanes made mental mistakes and could not take advantage of any opportunity that Michigan State gave them. There were a lot of dropped passes, penalties, missed tackles, and turnovers for Miami. There are plenty of tough games that Miami could still lose and it is a very real possibility that the Hurricanes could miss a bowl game.
