Sean Clifford deserves more credit

Quarterback Sean Clifford for Penn State deserves a lot more credit than he is getting right now. Coming into this year I was not big on Clifford being the leader of Penn State after his 2020 season overall. Clifford has proved that myself and many others were wrong as he is doing a great job leading Penn State in 2021.

Clifford so far has helped lead the Nittany Lions to three wins on the seasons and two huge victories for the program in two out of the last three weeks.

The senior quarterback has thrown for four touchdowns so far this year but only has thrown one interception. Something he did a whole lot last year. If Clifford continues to not turn over the ball this will be a hard team to beat in 2021.

Sean Clifford looks very comfortable out there and really is doing a great job of being a leader on the field for the Penn State offense. He is not the flashiest quarterback out there but that really does not matter because he is helping lead one of the hottest teams in the country at the moment.
