Auburn fell on Saturday night to Penn State, 28-20. However, Bo Nix and his team showed that they can hang with the big guys as they stood toe-to-toe with Penn State the whole way.

Were there some controversial calls on both sides? Sure, but overall Auburn doesn’t look like a team that anyone can just push to the wayside as not competitive.

The Rebels don’t move yet from their No. 5 spot, but they are coming for that top-four and they are pushing hard. They have a bye week as they prepare to head to Tuscaloosa to take on the Crimson Tide in Week 5.

If that game goes the Rebels’ way, we could see some serious shake-up at the top of the conference. For now, Matt Corral will enjoy his Player of the Week honor and his team will celebrate the dismantling of yet another team.
