College Football 2021: 5 bold predictions for Week 4

1. Wisconsin will upset Notre Dame in the best Week 4 game

Another neutral site game, this one at Soldier Field in Chicago, will be one every college football fan will want to watch closely.

Notre Dame (2-1) still has a lot to prove after defeating Florida State by just three points in Week 1 and escaping Toledo by three in Week 2. Last week, against Purdue, the Irish started to look more comfortable, winning by 14 points.

But this week, they face a difficult Big Ten opponent in Wisconsin.

The Badgers (1-1) have only played two games this season, dropping the season opener to Penn State by six points and a blowout of Eastern Michigan by 27 in Week 2.

Given Wisconsin has had two weeks to prepare for this game against Notre Dame, expect them to be salivating at the very notion of squaring off with the Irish inside an NFL stadium.

The Badgers will use their balanced attack to dispatch the Irish, led by junior running back Chez Mellusi. He’s got 265 rushing yards and 2 touchdowns this season. Sophomore QB Graham Mertz has aired it out for 326 total passing yards through two games. Mertz has two interceptions on the season, so he’ll need to minimize risky throws against this tough Irish defense.

Expect Wisconsin to come out on top in this epic clash between Wisconsin and Notre Dame.
