5. Army Black Knights (3-0)

The Army Black Knights spent last week beating up on the UConn Huskies 55-21. The Black Knights had six first-half possessions, scoring on all six. The Army did it in Army fashion; quarterback Christian Anderson threw the ball twice, and the Corps ran it 67 times for 397 yards.

For the Army to get into the New Year’s Six would be no easy feat, however. They would have to run the table, including defeating No. 18 Wisconsin and Wake Forest in consecutive weeks. It would also include every team in front of them to lose at least once as well.

4. San Diego State Aztecs (3-0)

The Aztecs continued the Moutain West’s assault on the Pac-12 with a win against Utah. The victory comes after San Diego State defeated Arizona to begin the season.

Not only do the Aztecs have two Power Five wins under their belt, but they also have an opponent that could be ranked when they play.

Fresno State is currently ranked No. 22 in the country. Though not presently ranked, Boise State could be sniffing around the top 25 by the time the Aztec hosts the Broncos in their season finale. However, if Utah can’t turn their season around, that win will be worth a lot less than it is now.
