Utah State football: 3 bold predictions vs. Boise State in Week 4
1. Deven Thompkins continues meteoric rise with big game
Senior wide receiver Deven Thompkins has more total receiving yards than anyone in the country right now, with 454 yards.
And he’s doing it while balancing his more important role of being a father to two children. That’s right, Thompkins runs circles around cornerbacks and safeties each week and then comes home to two young kids who run circles around him.
This puts into perspective just how impressive Thompkins’ role as a wide receiver for these Utah State Aggies has been this season. In addition to his 454 receiving yards, he’s pulled in three touchdowns
Expect Thompkins to continue his stellar start to the 2021 college football season against a team that’s given up 70 points through three games this season.
If the Broncos try to double team Thompkins, senior wideout Brandon Bowling is more than ready to step up for Utah State. Bowling has three touchdown receptions himself on 264 yards.
The Boise State Broncos will travel to Logan, Utah to take on the Utah State Aggies Sept. 25 at 12 p.m. EST on CBS.
