Arkansas football has gotten off to an impressive start and here’s why the Razorbacks will take down another rival on Saturday in Dallas.

At the start of the season, very few SEC fans were talking about Arkansas football. But after the Hogs beat down Texas, as well as starting 3-0, the Razorbacks have people’s attention.

On Saturday, they will be on the national stage as the 16th-ranked Razorbacks will gear up for another old Southwestern Conference rival as Arkansas football will head to Jerry’s World for a matchup with seventh-ranked Texas A&M.

We break down three reasons why you can expect the Razorbacks to reach 4-0.

Texas A&M’s sluggish offense

Jimbo Fisher’s club was hyped as a College Football Playoff contender and while the defense (1st nationally in scoring) has lived up to that, the offense has been an issue. Losing starting quarterback Haynes King got hurt and points have been hard to come by.

The fact that Texas A&M has thrown five interceptions in three games also doesn’t help. Zach Calzada looked better last week in a 34-0 win over New Mexico but on 72 pass attempts, he’s completing 51 percent and has two interceptions.

Arkansas football has seven sacks and three interceptions so far this season on defense and allows just 16 a game. The Razorbacks also dominated Texas on defense, holding the Horns to under 300 yards and less than four yards per rushing attempt.

And with the way the Aggies have struggled on offense, it’s hard to see them producing much more than 20 points against the Arkansas defense.
