The 2021 college football season is off to a wild start. We’ve seen plenty of upsets, some near-upsets, and surprise teams that no one expected to have big years start 3-0.

Last week, we saw Florida nearly upset Alabama and Georgia Tech almost take out Clemson. We also saw Ohio State struggle with Tulsa and Oklahoma had a tough time putting away an average Nebraska team in Norman which nearly blew up the top 10.

My picks last week for the best bets were 4-1 which was my best record of the season. My lone loss was the Indiana moneyline against Cincinnati that I was almost sure was going to hit. I just felt like the Hoosiers were better than what they’ve shown and maybe they are, but Cincinnati deserves some respect, too.

I had Ole Miss (-14) against Tulane and that one hit, and then some. My other wins were West Virginia (-2.5) against Virginia Tech, Washington and Arkansas State under 58 points, and Notre Dame (-7) against Purdue. Not a bad week overall, but Week 4 may arguably be the toughest to predict so far.

Conference play is set to begin in most leagues and there are some real toss-up matchups that are nearly impossible to predict.

Let’s take a look at my best bets for Week 3. Let’s keep this momentum going.

Best bets record in Week 3: 4-1
Best bets record on the season: 11-4
