1. The Jack Coan revenge game

Is it really a “revenge” game when a quarterback hits the transfer portal and leaves on his own? Probably not, but I can bet that Jack Coan looks at this as a type of revenge game against the team that basically tossed him aside for Graham Mertz and we’re going to call it that for the sake of this prediction.

Coan has gotten off to a strong start to the season with 828 yards and eight touchdowns with just two picks in three games, really showing off against Florida State in the opener with 366 yards and four scores.

He struggled a little against Purdue last week with a 50 percent completion rate, but he still had three touchdowns and 7.4 yards per attempt. He needs to have that type of solid game against the Badgers and I think familiarity is only going to help him here.

Notre Dame has a distinct advantage of having a veteran quarterback who knows Wisconsin’s defense very well and Coan is going to get some revenge against his former team.
