Texas A&M football is hoping to improve to 4-0 on the year and do so without its starting quarterback for a second straight game. Arkansas isn’t going to be an easy out, however.

The Aggies have been one of the better teams in the SEC this season but Arkansas has been one of the biggest surprises in college football. Sam Pittman has the Razorbacks clicking right now and they’re poised to pull off an upset at AT&T Stadium in Week 4.

Jimbo Fisher is used to having a massive target on his back so his Aggies will be ready for this rivalry game but this might be the best contest in the long history of the series.

Expect a tight one on Saturday afternoon. Let’s get bold.

3. Zach Calzada throws three picks

The injury bug bit Texas A&M pretty hard early this season as Haynes King was injured against Colorado in the second game of the year. Luckily, Zach Calzada pushed him for that starting job throughout fall camp, but the coaching staff and fanbase were very excited about King’s potential.

Calzada is a decent option, but he struggled a bit against Colorado and looked rattled when pressure was high. He completed under 50 percent of his passes for 183 yards and a touchdown. He averaged just 4.8 yards per attempt.

Sure, Calzada bounced back against New Mexico, but it’s New Mexico. He had three touchdowns with just one pick and completed about 58 percent of his throws. He still hasn’t wowed anyone and has two picks on the year.

I think he’ll throw three against the Aggies on Saturday as it will be his most forgettable game as a starting quarterback to date.
