Sam Pittman has worked wonders with Arkansas football in just 1.25-ish seasons. Taking over the dumpster fire that Chad Morris left, it felt like a massive rebuild was in order, but Arkansas is now ranked No. 16 in the country in Pittman’s second year, looking to potentially climb into the top-10 with a win over Texas A&M.

Who could have seen this coming a year ago?

The Razorbacks are playing great football and Pittman is hoping to end a nine-year drought for Arkansas in this rivalry.

Let’s dive into some bold predictions for Saturday’s matchup.

3. Treylon Burks has second straight 100-yard game

Texas A&M has one of the best defenses in the SEC but I honestly don’t think that’ll matter in this showdown. The Aggies and Razorbacks usually keep things close and it can sometimes turn into a shootout.

With both teams ranked and playing some fantastic football, there’s going to be a lot of confidence on both sides for the Southwest Classic.

Despite allowing just 77 (!!) yards per game through the air, I think Aggie defensive backs are going to have a tough time with Treylon Burks who’s an absolute matchup nightmare.

The 6-3, 225-pound junior is going to have a big day against the Aggies as he’s coming off his best game of the season. He got off to a slow start in 2021 but had three catches for 127 yards and a touchdown last week against Georgia Southern.

I expect him to record a second straight 100-yard game.
