826. . 3-0. . Eagles . 12. team

Defeated: Colgate 51-0, at UMass 45-28, and at Temple 28-3
Strength of Schedule: 123rd
Road Victories: 2
Wins vs. Power 5 teams: 0
Next opponent: Missouri

Boston College has had a relatively easy schedule up to this point of the season with a dominating home win against Colgate and road victories against UMass and Temple. The Eagles defense has looked amazing at times but will be tested against Missouri at home. With the game being played at Boston College, look for the Eagles to make a late field goal to win the game in a defensive struggle.

Week 4 prediction: Boston College 20, Missouri 17

Demon Deacons . 11. team. 889. . 4-0.

Defeated: Old Dominion 42-10, Norfolk State 41-16, and Florida State 35-14
Strength of Schedule: 104th
Road Victories: 0
Wins vs. Power 5 teams: 1
Next opponent: Louisville

Wake Forest was an unknown team heading into the 2021 season. However, their offense and defense dominated against lesser known opponents in their first two games. The Demon Deacons then easily defeated Florida State that looks better on paper than reality. Wake Forest’s first true test came on the road during a Friday night game against Virginia. The Demon Deacons looked impressive with their 20-point road victory over the Cavaliers.

Week Four Game Result: Wake Forest 37, Virginia 17

872. . 2-0. . Horned Frogs . 10. team

Defeated: Duquesne 45-3 and Cal 34-32
Strength of Schedule: 72nd
Road Victories: 0
Wins vs. Power 5 teams: 1
Next opponent: SMU

TCU had high expectations coming into this season. They are also the only team in these rankings with only two victories in the 2021 season. The Horned Frogs dominated in their season opener against a FCS opponent and they struggled but defeated Pac-12 opponent Cal in their second game of the season. TCU will be challenged in Week 4 but they will be able to remain undefeated forWeek 5 play.

Week 4 prediction: TCU 31, SMU 21

Defeated: Temple 61-14, at Syracuse 17-7, and Delaware 45-13
Strength of Schedule: 93rd
Road Victories: 1
Wins vs. Power 5 teams: 1
Next opponent: at Michigan

Rutgers football program is on the right path and showed they are bowl worthy team starting the season undefeated. The Scarlet Knights offense was superb in victories over Temple and Delaware and their defense played outstanding on the road in their win over Syracuse. However, Rutgers on the road without some key cornerbacks that are not available to play in week four does not bode well with their chances of defeating Michigan. Rutgers will keep in close through three quarters but fall short in their quest to remain undefeated.

Week 4 prediction: Rutgers 14, Michigan 31

8. team. 858. . 3-0. . Tigers

Defeated: Nicholls 42-17, at Arkansas State 55-50, and Mississippi State 31-29
Strength of Schedule: 78th
Road Victories: 1
Wins vs. Power 5 teams: 1
Next opponent: UTSA

Memphis has played well overall this season with the exception of their defense in their 55-50 victory over Arkansas State. The Tigers easily defeated FCS opponent Nicholls in their season opener but may have played their best game of the season when they beat Mississippi State in Week 3 play. Memphis is vulnerable but they won two close games already and look to win another close one again at home against UTSA.

Week 4 prediction: Memphis 28, UTSA 24
