Penn State faced Villanova and luckily for the Nittany Lions, this wasn’t a basketball game and they won handily.

The Nittany Lions have won nine straight games dating back to last season now and they look like one of the best teams in college football. Although Auburn struggled with Georgia State this week and that win looked a little less impressive, you can’t take anything away from a team taking care of business against the teams on their schedule.

James Franklin’s team won by three touchdowns and they were up 31-3 after three quarters so this game wasn’t that close and the backups were in for most of the final quarter.

Sean Clifford did look solid once again, passing for 401 yards and four touchdowns and a serious discussion needs to be had about him being the best quarterback in the Big Ten this season.
