KJ Jefferson

Sam Pittman since becoming the head coach of Arkansas football really seems to have brought toughness to his team and the Arkansas program in general.

Not saying that Arkansas was not tough in years past, but maybe the better wording is that Pittman has helped raised the bar when it comes to toughness as a whole in the football program.

One player who sure is tough is quarterback KJ Jefferson for the Razorbacks. Jefferson was battling injuries in the second half but toughed through after only missing a few snaps.

Jefferson finished the day with 212 yards through the air, and two touchdowns. He was not done though as he also had eight carries for 50 yards on the ground too. Should also be noted that Jefferson was the first quarterback to throw a touchdown through the air against the Texas A&M defense this year in 2021.
