ACC Football Power Rankings, Week 5: Clemson spirals out of control
By Dante Pryor
Ask for money, and get advice
Ask for advice, get money twice
I’m from the Dirty, but that chico nice
Y’all call it a moment, I call it life
One day when the light is glowing
I’ll be in my castle golden
But until the gates are open
I just wanna feel this moment (ohhh)

Welcome back to headquarters between Tobacco Road and the future site of David Cutcliffe’s statue. This weekend, ACC football broke our internet, streaming services, and backup generators. You would think it had something to do with Clemson; it did, and it didn’t.
So, okay, yes, Clemson lost to North Carolina State in overtime on the road Saturday. There was no shade on the Wolfpack, but the Tigers were ripe for the picking, and the Wolfpack had the game plan and roster to get the job done.
That wasn’t the only thing that broke our WiFi at headquarters. How about Georgia Tech taking North Carolina to the woodshed in their 45-22 victory. Jeff Sims was absolutely that guy with 240 yards of offense and four total touchdowns.
The Dome was electric as the Syracuse Orange got their win back against Liberty. The Orange have their quarterback in Mississippi State transfer Garrett Schrader and Sean Tucker might be a top-five running back in the country.
These rankings give props to teams that played well last week and could look completely different as Pitt, Miami, Boston College begins conference play.
So, to rivalries that really ain’t, cups of territory and games featuring bandanas of red, here are this week’s power rankings.
