Lady cab driver, can you take me for a ride?
Don’t know where I’m goin’ ’cause I don’t know where I’ve been
So just put your foot on the gas, let’s drive

Lady Cab Driver by Prince

It has been quite the ride this week in Big Ten football. Michigan State is playing the best football in the conference, while the Minnesota Golden Gophers fell to Bowling Green, yes that Bowling Green. The rest of the conference defeated the cupcakes they faced.

Even Indiana escaped Bowling Green, Kentucky, with a two-point victory against Western Kentucky.

What is a moral victory worth? Not very much. The Nebraska Cornhuskers followed an admirable performance against Oklahoma with another commendable performance against Michigan State. Unfortunately, the ‘Huskers lost both games.

It feels like this is how Nebraska should have been playing last season. Instead of being a year ahead of schedule, the Huskers are a year behind. Then there is Wisconsin. No one saw the Badgers being this bad.

Graham Mertz was supposed to be the reason the Badgers could win the Big Ten. Instead, the highest-rated quarterback recruit in school history has been awful this season. Mertz has thrown one touchdown pass to six interceptions. Welp.

Without further adieu to rivalry trophies in the shape of axes, buckets, and hogs named Floyd, here are this week’s power rankings.
