2. Arkansas will beat two ranked teams

When you just glance at Arkansas’ schedule for October, you’d be led to believe the Razorbacks are in for a tough go of things.

The Razorbacks will face the No. 2 team in the country to start the month before facing a red-hot Ole Miss team which could make a statement against No. 1 Alabama in Week 5. Then the Razorbacks will host Auburn in Week 7 before getting a nice “bye” against Arkansas-Pine Bluff in week 8.

Arkansas will end the month with a real bye week before a final stretch in November which could decide its postseason fate.

With three ranked teams on the schedule, even one win over a team in the AP Top 25 would be huge but I think the Razorbacks will account for two.

Arkansas is going to lose a tight defensive battle against Georgia to start the month before beating Ole Miss on the road in another close game and then Auburn as well in a revenge matchup.

Sam Pittman’s squad will finish the month 3-1 and remain in the top 10 heading into November.
