It was a rough week for teams who ranked at the top of these Big 12 football rankings last week. Of the top five teams, four of them took a loss. And the No. 1 team was taken to the limit.

The most fun thing we got to see was the offensive firepower that this conference is noted for. Seven of the 10 teams put up 30-plus points, with Texas and Texas Tech leading the way for 105 total points in their game.

Surprisingly, the team is most known for an explosive offense only mustered up 16 points. Oklahoma has ranked No. 1 in the conference in total yards every year since 2016. As of right now, they sit at fourth with a good chunk of ground to make up.

For this week we have some exciting matchups that will tell a lot about the landscape of the conference. Texas and TCU will square off at 12 p.m. ET on ABC leading into a 3:30 p.m. window that features Texas Tech versus West Virginia and Oklahoma versus Kansas State.

The cherry on the top will feature this upstart Baylor team who finds themselves in a ranked matchup against Oklahoma State. With Iowa State already having two losses, this game could go a far way in determining a participant in the Big 12 title game.

As we dig deeper into conference play, where do these teams rank?
