2. Brock Purdy throws 10 touchdown passes with only one pick

Much like the rest of the team in September, Brock Purdy didn’t have the best showing, throwing for under 1,000 yards with four touchdowns and four interceptions.

For a quarterback who was supposed to be pushing for the Heisman Trophy, a month like that can eliminate you from the face, even if you’re essentially perfect in the final eight games of the season. Purdy may be out of the Heisman race but he’s not incapable of piecing together a solid second month.

The senior quarterback will have a big month, surpassing the 2,000-yard passing mark for the season with 10 touchdowns and just one pick. So on the year, he’ll have at least 14 touchdown passes and just five picks.

I’m a believer that Purdy is one of the best quarterbacks in the country and he hasn’t played like it yet. That’s going to change over the next four games.
