College Football Rankings 2021: Projected AP Top 25 for Week 6
Ohio State will find its way back into the top 10 this week after going on the road against a decent 3-1 Rutgers team and blowing the doors off the Scarlet Knights. I mean, this one truly wasn’t even close.
CJ Stroud’s time off against Tulsa in Week 4 seemed to pay off as he came in and looked refreshed. He was electric all afternoon long, made all the right passes, and didn’t get rattled in a road environment at Rutgers. He finished the game with well over 300 passing yards and five touchdowns with just a handful of misses.
Chris Olave had a big day and proved that he’s one of the best wide outs in the country and the rest of the receiving corps thrived as well.
Defensively, Ohio State got back into the swing of things and suffocated the Scarlet Knights for 60 minutes.
You know it’s going to be a long day if you give up 45 points in the first half and the Scarlet Knights just folded late. Ohio State is back to being Ohio State.
I see a solid jump into that top 10 this week.
