Wisconsin Football: 3 players who earned game balls in Michigan loss

Coming into this year there were a lot of positives surrounding the Wisconsin football program. Graham Mertz was ready to take the next step, they added to an already talented backfield, and they brought back a ton from last year’s great defense. A ton of the media had the Badgers as a team who could potentially be playing in the Big Ten Championship game, too.

Flash forward a few months and things are not great for the Badgers. If we are being honest things are very bad right now in Madison.

The Badgers are 1-3 through the 2021 season so far following an embarrassing home loss to Michigan 38-17. Many expected that Wisconsin would rebound after their tough loss last week in Chicago against Notre Dame but they did not at all.

There is still a lot of season left to get better as a unit and form some positives, but this was not what anybody expected from Wisconsin as a team so far in 2021.
