The Roadrunners shocked some when they visited Illinois and defeated a team that was victorious against Nebraska the week before. UTSA was able to outscore the Fighting Illini on the road for their season opener win. The Roadrunners then followed that victory by winning their next two games at home by at least two touchdowns or more with their third win being against fellow Conference USA member Middle Tennessee.
UTSA then went on the road to play Memphis for their fourth game in which they were not favored to win but they played them tough and won by a field goal on the road. The Roadrunners did struggle a little bit against an inferior opponent but were able to win at home and defeated UNLV for their fifth win on the season.

When looking at the three teams already mentioned, SMU has the most impressive victory with their win on the road against TCU.
The Mustangs’ offense has been doing very well this season as they are consistently scoring points game after game scoring at least 35 points a game this season. SMU won their two first games at home without much trouble but in their first road game, they had some difficulty but were victorious in their game against Louisiana Tech.
The Mustangs followed a TCU victory with a dominant home win over USF.
SMU will play their third road game of the season when they travel to play Navy which has improved as the season has gone on with an impressive victory over UCF but the Mustangs should when by double digits and improve to 6-0
Week 6 prediction: SMU 33, Navy 21
