Auburn football heads into Saturday’s game with a 4-1 record after a big comeback win in Death Valley. Right when you thought the Tigers were out of it Bo Nix kept finding a way. Auburn pounced and fought off the Tigers of LSU in Baton Rogue with the win.

Auburn isn’t always getting it done away from home. Far from it, but Bo has an innate ability to rise up in the moments that count the most. While it may be extremely stressful for an Auburn fan, it ends up being extremely rewarding. He is finding his will to win and strong leadership at the right time. In the right moments, and in the right games.

Head coach Bryan Harsin is all too familiar with the rivalry that dates back to 1892 but his mind is focused on this game and not the history.

“I know the history,” Harsin said on the SEC coaches weekly teleconference. “The great hint about being at a place like Auburn is there is a lot of history, but that’s not my main focus as I watch Georgia and how they play. I’m trying to look at the current events as they are going on. The fun part about being at a program like Auburn, that tradition and history, is what makes the SEC and programs like Auburn so special, but the focus is on 2021. That’s enough.”

Georgia is coming into the game with a 5-0 record which is no surprise. We all knew Georgia would be great but they are already exceeding expectations. Looking even better than Alabama in my opinion. With huge wins against Clemson and Arkansas. A 37-0 score against No. 8 Arkansas last week did not even seem like a test for them.

Georgia head coach Kirby Smart weighed in on playing in Jordan-Hare.

”It’s extremely loud,” Smart said. “Most SEC places are, but they have an incredible ability to affect the game in terms of noise and the energy they bring to it.”

Auburn is coming in with high hopes and confidence after beating LSU in Death Valley for the time since 1999. That type of clutch performance can be enough to make the team realize how good they are and what they can become. The Auburn Tigers shocked the nation last week.

Will Bo have the same magic on Saturday again or is this too hard of a test? I think he just might and here are three reasons Auburn will win the Deep South’s oldest rivalry.
