3. Auburn’s run defense

The Auburn defense has not been bad this year, but it has not faced a dynamic run game quite like Georgia’s. The Bulldogs have overwhelmed their opponents at the line of scrimmage this season and they have four capable backs that can hurt a defense.

Auburn did not let LSU or Penn State run the ball on them, but Georgia State had a field day with the Auburn run defense. I think that the Bulldogs will replicate the kind of gameplan that the Panthers used against the Tigers.

Penn State and LSU have not been able to run the ball, but Georgia can. Georgia has rotated through each of their running backs in every game so far and that will be their formula all season. Zamir White, James Cook, Kenny McIntosh, and Kendall Milton will all see carries on Saturday. If Auburn can’t be better at stopping the run, it is going to be a long day for the Tigers.
