Ole Miss football is one of the biggest surprises in the country this season, jumping out to a 3-1 start and sitting at No. 17 in the AP Top 25.

The Rebels have one of the top Heisman contenders in the country in Matt Corral and he’s hoping to bounce back from a 21-point loss to Alabama a week ago. Ole Miss get another ranked foe in Arkansas this weekend and the Rebels are looking for revenge after losing to the Razorbacks by 12 points last season.

Will Ole Miss exact some revenge? Let’s get bold.

3. Jerrion Ealy finally breaks out

What’s been going on with Jerrion Ealy this season? The junior running back has had a rough season after two really good years in 2019 and 2020.

The Rebels have relied heavily upon him for two seasons but he has taken a step back this year rushing for just 204 yards and a touchdown on 5.1 yards per carry. He just doesn’t look like the same explosive running back and I think he’s just waiting for that breakout game.

Ealy did have his first “breakout” game of the season against Tulane, rushing for 103 yards on 15 carries and the week before, he averaged 12 yards per carry on four touches. But outside of those two games, he has 21 rushes for 53 yards and a touchdown — that’s just not good enough.

Ealy is going to rush for over 100 yards with a couple of touchdowns on Saturday afternoon as he finally gets back on track. He’ll soon live up to his preseason hype.
