Did you miss out on the SEC football action from Week 5? Let’s get you all caught up. To start, Arkansas and Georgia started out the weekend and for a second straight week, Georgia didn’t allow a single point- winning 37-0. Then, Tennessee squashed Missouri 62-24.

Ole Miss and Alabama faced off in Tuscaloosa and it wasn’t as close as I expected it to be. Alabama doubled up Ole Miss, winning 42-21. South Carolina struggled with Troy but was able to pull off a win 23-14. Kentucky knocked off a highly ranked Florida 20-13 to remain undefeated and Mississippi State was able to do the same to Texas A&M 26-22. The Aggies were shocked by the loss, to say the least, as was Florida. Is one loss better than the other? I’ll leave you to decide that.

The Toliet Bowl, also known as Vanderbilt and UConn, ended in the second win of the season for Vanderbilt as the ‘Dores won 30-28. Bo Nix and Auburn won for the first time in more than two decades in Death Valley, taking down a not-so-good LSU team 24-19. I questioned the choice to let Nix start after Finley showed promise the week before, but he proved me wrong.

Now that you are all caught up with everything that happened this week, let’s get into power rankings- starting at the bottom of the bottom, where no one is surprised who sits there.
