Vanderbilt sticks at No. 14 in the power rankings and as I’ve said, that won’t really be changing this season unless craziness ensues and they finish the season undefeated or something like that. The ‘Dores will face off against Florida this week who is coming off a loss to Kentucky, but I don’t think that the Gators are at the point of losing to Vanderbilt.

The Gamecocks nearly fell to Troy and as a result, fall a spot in the rankings. They are likely one of the worst 3-2 teams in the conference. They don’t seem to have much of anything figured out and have kind of lucked into a few wins at this point. This week, they play Tennessee who is coming off of putting a 60 piece on Missouri. I don’t anticipate South Carolina winning this one, so they will be at .500 by this time next week.

822. . 2-3. Previous: 11th. Tigers . 12. team

Missouri is coming off giving up 62 points to the Volunteers of Tennessee, who aren’t really that good in their own right, so the Tigers drop down one spot. Things get a bit better for them though as they face off against North Texas this week and the Mean Green is just not very good. For their sake, I hope this doesn’t turn into the North Texas vs. Arkansas matchup of a few years ago.
