Welcome back to ACC football headquarters between Tobacco Road and the future site of the David Cutcliffe memorial statue. Despite a light schedule this week, we spilled plenty of mint juleps and yelled at the television sets much of Saturday afternoon.
Every game in the conference was down to the wire, decided by a one-score, including an overtime thriller between Syracuse and Wake Forest, who always seem to play close games, and Notre Dame escaping the Sandman with a three-point win against Virginia Tech.
If this week was any indicator of what we can expect next weekend, hold on to those juleps. Friday night could be the most intriguing game of the week. Clemson travels to the Carrier Dome to take on Syracuse.
The last time the Tigers went to upstate New York on a Friday night, they took an L. Pitt takes their high-powered offense to Blacksburg and Virginia Tech. Can Pitt continue their offensive onslaught?
