3. Georgia’s run defense

It is no secret that Georgia has the top defense in the country in nearly every metric. It is nearly impossible to run on them in any way and it is even a wonder why some teams even try. Jordan Davis leads the way for the group and he should be in line for every major defensive award he is eligible for.

Kentucky has a potent rushing attack and it was a big reason that they beat LSU last weekend. Rodriguez leads the league in rushing and has had one of the best rushing seasons in the country. He is going to have to find a way to be a factor in the run game. The Wildcats’ offensive line has some studs up front, but this is going to be a challenge that might be too tough for them.

If the Bulldogs stop Rodriguez, that is going to leave the game in the hands of Kentucky quarterback Will Levis who has not had to win a game with his arm.

Georgia’s run defense has a big advantage this week.
