Georgia football looked unbeatable once again on Saturday, toying with Kentucky football before smashing the Wildcats in the second half.

The Georgia Bulldogs are now 7-0 on the season and there isn’t a team in the country that’s looked more impressive.

Georgia football was at it again on Saturday, beating another quality opponent in the form of 6-0 Kentucky football. The Wildcats were ranked 11th and fresh off wins over LSU and Florida.

Mark Stoops team is known for its defense and the Wildcats held Georgia football to 14 points in the first half. Kentucky football also managed to score 13, which is more than Arkansas achieved.

But still, even when it was a one-score game at the half, the outcome felt inevitable. Stetson Bennett was stellar and threw three touchdowns. Kentucky had no answer for Brock Bowers and of course, Georgia’s defense, which is the best in the country, held Kentucky to under 250 yards.

Here are key takeaways from the Bulldogs win:

Georgia shows why you need more than one QB

The goal this season for the Bulldogs has always been a national championship. With the juggernaut Kirby Smart has built on the defensive side of the ball, Georgia is in a prime position to finally beat Alabama.

A key part of that was supposed to be former five-star quarterback JT Daniels. Yet, he’s been injured but Georgia hasn’t been slowed down at all, and Saturday, Bennett with a 14-of-20 day for 250 yards and three touchdowns, proved he’s more than capable of taking this team where it wants to go and shows the importance of having more than one capable quarterback.
