Winner: Oklahoma State (No. 8)

Oklahoma State remains undefeated after going to Texas and taking down the Longhorns. The Cowboys are playing much like Iowa has this season and winning with defense. Oklahoma State has been better on offense than Iowa has, but they are going to have to be much better if they are going to be taken seriously as a playoff contender.

While there is still skepticism over whether they are a potential playoff team, the Cowboys have the inside track to get to the Big 12 championship game and that does mean something. Keep an eye on Oklahoma State going forward.

Winner: UTSA (No. 24)

Most people may not know, but the Roadrunners are undefeated this season and looking very impressive. Head coach Jeff Traylor has his team playing very well and they destroyed Rice on Saturday 45-0.

UTSA is the clear-cut best team in the C-USA and with a certain amount of chaos, the Roadrunners could be looking at a potential New Year’s Six game. It is nice to see this program getting the recognition that they have earned this season.
