Quarterback Aidan O’Connell

Throughout the year Purdue has played multiple quarterbacks so far this season. The Boilermakers had three different quarterbacks again take at least one snap on Saturday but Aidan O’Connell was the clear star at quarterback against Iowa.

O’Connell completed 30 passes for 375 yards, and 2 touchdowns through the air. He also had a rushing touchdown. This was the most yards this year for him and second-most he has thrown in his Boilermaker career.

The senior quarterback in O’Connell came into this week throwing at least one interception in the last three games he took snaps in, but on Saturday was able to take care of the ball and have no turnovers which was huge.
