In this week’s ACC football power rankings, Pitt dominates the Hokies while Manny and the ‘Canes are heartbroken again.

Trust – who do ya?
Trust – what makes you a real lover?
Trust – I put this question to ya ’cause I want you to be with me

Welcome back to ACC football power rankings headquarters on the corner of Tobacco Road and the future site of David Cutcliffe’s statue (yes, he still gets one).

This week’s question is, “who do you trust?” There is a log jam atop the ACC, and someone has to win the conference.

Wake Forest has not played the top of their division with Clemson and North Carolina State left. Do you trust the Deacons to win those games? Speaking of the Wolfpack, they have a win against Clemson in hand. Can they finally close the deal this season and get to the title game?

Pitt is in control of the ACC Coastal, but it is the Coastal. Then there is the fact that it is Pitt. They did lose to Western Michigan and have Clemson and Virginia yet to play. It would be very Pitt to beat Clemson and then lose to Miami.

Speaking of Clemson, their offense is flat-out awful. However, they have the best defense in the conference, and they are getting healthy. They would need NC State to lose twice, but the Tigers will have a say in the outcome of the ACC.

So, to rivalries that ain’t, cups dedicated to the commonwealth, and figuring out what is in the water in Florida, here are this week’s Power Rankings.
