2. App State will have success on the ground

One of the few weaknesses that Coastal has displayed this season is their ability to stop the run at times. I think some of that can be attributed to losing some studs from their defensive line from last year and the unit not being as effective.

Teams like Buffalo and even Kansas were able to get to the edge on Coastal and I am sure that is going to be a part of the game plan for the Mountaineers.

One of the things that App State does well is run the football. They use a two running back attack and both Camerun Peoples and Nate Noel have had success this year. If App State is not able to run the ball, that is going to leave the potential for quarterback Chase Brice to turn the ball over, something that he has a tendency to do when he is pressed to throw the ball in key situations.

I think that App State will have success running the ball and that is going to keep the game close. I say the Mountaineers have over 200 yards.
