It’s been a rough month of October for Arkansas football. After starting the year 4-0 with a top-10 ranking, the Razorbacks have dropped three straight games but that can always happen in the SEC when you have a chance to see a ranked team each week for a month straight.

Luckily for the Razorbacks, they’ll get somewhat of a “bye” in Week 8 as Arkansas-Pine Bluff comes to town looking for an upset. Well, that’s not likely to happen.

Arkansas may be on the struggle bus right now, but UAPB has lost five straight games after beginning the year 1-0. The Golden Lions don’t stand much of a chance, on paper, in this one, but we’ve seen crazier things happen.

What can we expect from Saturday afternoon’s matchup? Let’s get bold.

3. Treylon Burks has 200 receiving yards

I’m a firm believer that Treylon Burks is the best receiver in the SEC. A few guys, including a couple of Alabama receivers, may have something to say about that, but Burks has had a huge start to his junior season.

The 6-3, 225-pound wideout has 38 catches for 628 yards and five touchdowns this season and he has four 100-yard games over the past five weeks. His best game came in the Razorbacks’ last win when he had 167 yards against Texas A&M and I think he’s going to surpass that total, and then some, in their Week 8 game.

Burks is going to finish the game with a season-high 10 catches for 207 yards and a couple of touchdowns. He’s going to go over 830 yards on the year and really put himself in position to be named SEC Receiver of the Year.
