College Football 2021: Ranking 10 undefeated teams heading into Week 8

Many of the undefeated college football teams are vying to win their seventh or eighth games of the season to not only remain unbeaten and to move up in the AP Top 25, but to position themselves in great position when the first College Football Playoff rankings are announced on Nov. 2.

We will once again look at, examine, and rank the 10 teams are are still undefeated based on numerous factors such as wins against currently ranked opponents, victories against Power Five teams, how many wins the team has had on the road, and their strength of schedule according to teamrankings.com.

Another aspect we will look at for each of the individual ten undefeated teams are their bowl projections by two college football experts.

Let’s once again take a look at all ten undefeated teams in these rankings.

Week 8 prediction: Wake Forest 41, Army 31

All four of the above mentioned teams do not have easy games this weekend. It is possible that two out of the four lose but because they are still undefeated up to this point, we shouldn’t expect them to lose until they actually lose a game.

All four teams can still win their conferences even though it will not be an easy task.

Wake Forest playing in the ACC is not a cake walk despite the conference not playing well overall this season. SMU will have to beat Cincinnati to win the AAC and San Diego State needs to win at Air Force to have hopes of capturing the Mountain West title. If UTSA can win on the road against Louisiana Tech, it could easily be the champion of Conference USA.

However, the games still need to be played and time will tell how these four teams will end their seasons.
