1. Washington ends losing streak, wins by two scores

Washington has lost two straight games by seven points or less and the Huskies are now just 2-4 on the season. It’s been a nightmare season for the Huskies who began the year ranked only to lose to Montana and then Michigan back-to-back to drop to 0-2.

Jimmy Lake’s team got its first win against Arkansas State, 52-3, before beating Cal in overtime (which seems to be a common theme for preseason conference contenders). The Huskies then lost to Oregon State by three points in Corvallis before losing by seven to UCLA in Week 7. Washington is hoping to get back on track against the conference’s worst team on Friday.

And the Huskies will do just that.

Arizona is bad. Like really bad. Like really, really bad. Jedd Fisch has had his work cut out for him and after the Wildcats went winless in a shortened 2020 season under Kevin Sumlin, Fisch is off to an 0-6 start to the 2021 campaign. Arizona has been the worst Power Five team not named Kansas in the country for a couple of years now.

Washington is going to show just why it was considered a preseason title contender and it’ll handle the Wildcats by at least two touchdowns in Tucson on Friday.
